Firmware everywhere section, Just how many bits of software are running in my house ?
(and how i might be the only person that updates firmware)

To explain a little, i just noticed this poll on Slashdot devices-on-my-home-network-less-modem, and it got me thinking about just how many embedded devices there are around. Now i write embedded firmware for a living, so to me its normal, but i was supprised just how many bits of hardware i had.
